Well I still haven't seen the race because ITV4 decided to split the programme into a couple of chunks which confused my PVR.  I am enjoying Karun Chandhok in the studio though, much better and more engaging than most of the pundits on the telly.

Stranded in Nigeria due to the geoblockade, I still haven't watched the race. I might as well give up this season.

It's really not difficult to bypass geo restrictions, simple geo-proxies extensions for the most common browsers are everywere..

Anyaw, here's a look at the standings!

Still can't find the full race on Youtube, usually it pops out some hours after the event

Ouch. There is only one driver without DNF and points. That's JV :-(

The only slight issue is that FE cars are slower than a 3 year old on a tricycle. The events are quite entertaining, but for me it's hard to consider it a proper racing series.

Fair point, they are slow. It is however a proper racing series, that's a silly comment top be honest and completely inaccurate.

It's in it's second season, it will get faster as technology improves.

Pretty much matching my expectations then.  :p He'll get better, but I doubt that he can consistently mix it with most others on the grid. The quality of the field is quite high: possibly the top 50% in FE could more or less match the bottom 50% in F1 (just superficially looking at the grids without in-depth analysis).

He is ahead of Simona (and JEV!), so he actually exceeded my expections...

You star! I've been checking the app all day after my sky box failed.

Mental race. Good win for LDG. Good to see frijns on the podium. And an outstanding drive from near last to second for bird.

I wish all the tracks suited the formula as much as this one.

FE seems to be providing my IndyCar fix while Indy is on vacation. That was a crazy and entertaining race. Can't wait for the next installment

Ye, well, it hurts an JV-fan, who strongly believes that the man have top skills :/

Count me as one of them.  To find an excuse, it appeared that JV lost over 20 seconds during the pit stop, if I saw that correctly.  Before then, he was running in positions 10-12 or so, and with the chaos at the end would have probably scored a few points.  His spin didn't help, of course...

And last race he was crashed out!

We did it! We found the excuses for both races  Championship title next!

At least I can dream, it is fun to see him race again though, as a major RX-fan it was sorta sad to see him only run it halfway...

The problem is that JV has spent the last decade jumping between countless different series and only managing a handful of races in any given year. It's not surprising if it takes him a while to find his feet, especially given the slightly atypical nature of the cars.

'twas quite an entertaining race toward the end there...

well done to the third-place getter for persisting with a very wonky looking car.
