Hello everybody, 

I'm French, so excuse me for my poor english.

I'm looking for every information about a rider called G A Chamberlain from Sandbach, Crewe, Cheshire.

Chamberlain was a privater rider from the Derby and District Motor cycle club during mid'30s'.

Chamberlain had a nice palmares and I will be extremely interested with some pics from Chamberlain on his 350 Norton International.

 

After ome research on newspaper archives I found that he rode this bike during : 

 

- The 1934 Junior  Manx Grand prix, rider number 23, finishing 25th

-Donington park June 1935 Three-wheeler meeting, he finished First

-The 1935 Junior Manx grand prix, rider number 33, finishing 17th

-The august 1936 donington park meeting, finishing first and won a free entry to MGP

-The 1936 Manx grand prix in junior (number 56) finishing 10th and in senior MGP (with another Norton but 490cc), number 8, finishing 9th.

 

I found two pics on motoring library but I will be pleased to get other one or any other information concerning this rider.

Hello and welcome to the forum Thierry, if you go to www.iomtt.com and click on 'database' along the top of the page, then 'competitors' you will find him under 'c' and all of his Isle of Man results are listed there.

thank you very much. I had this information from IOM MGP database, and concerning the pics, I 've two from motoringpicutrelibrary : 

 

Tis one is 1936 MGP in senior, pictures is really nice but it is the 500 Norton, and I'm looking for Chamberlain's 350

The second is 1934 MGP but no sure it is the 500 (kellas) or 350 (Chamberlain).

So, it will be great to get a start lane pics from MGP or donington pics or any other from Chamberlain 350.

The custodian of the archives is Bill Snelling who is a member on here, Bill is not seen on the forum very often, but his email address is on the fottofinders site, so if you send him an email I'm sure he will search the archives for you.
