Best race: Hungarian GP. Mention to Silverstone and Austin.
Worst race: Belgian GP. This was between Australia and Belgium for me, but ultimately it's SPA. Although i haven't watched a tedier season opener in many, many years, for a circuit with it's history, Spa, should deliver proper racing, every single year. Reject of the year. Mention to Australia, China, Canada and Italy. It shows here, two of the most classic, 'ancient' races of F1, simply did not delivered this year.
Best Driver: Between Hamilton and Vettel. Ultimately went for Seb. No.1 for me this season, i gained massive respect for him over the year, he really seems rejuvenated. Mentions to Ricciardo, Verstappen and the McLaren duo, simply for not giving up.
Worst Driver: What hurts me here, is the fact that there are many choices. Maldonado, Ericsson, Stevens, and Raikkonen. Yes, after two full dismal seasons, i now truly belive he has melted. I narrowed it down to two, Crashtor and Not-any-more-Iceman. Pastor delivered at least some fine drives, Kimi had barely half of Seb's points. I like him, but show him the door.
Best Overtake: Ok, here we have 90% Verstappen material. My favourite is Belgium, Blanchimont, on the outside of Nasr. "It's balls, it's bravery, it's beautiful, Max Verstappen!".
Best Moment: F1Fanatic nailed it here: "Ferrari and Vettel win for Bianchi"
Biggest surprise: The fact that McLaren-Honda put together an absolute "Mc-Hon-Dog" of a car.
Biggest disappointment: Jules Bianchi's death. Truth be told, after March/April it was more or less expected, but it was horrible to wake up with these news. This was a real tragedy. Fly High Jules. Gone, but not forgotten...
The season in one sentence: Average. It was like watching WEC, in the sence that it had 3 categories: Mercedes and sometimes Ferrari, then the Midfield, then the GT-Am likes of McLaren and Manor. (Ok, that's 2 or maybe 3 sentences )
Expectations for next season: Ok, this says "expectations", not wishes, so i'll try narrowing my list down... A LOT. Anyway, what i expect is Mercedes to lose some of their mojo there, like McLaren did in 1989 from a dominant 1988, Ferrari to push them more, maybe if Vettel can drive as well as he drove this year, we can have a 3-way scrap for the WDC. Williams to fall behind Red Bull. Red Bull to jump Williams, but only just. Maybe a scrap for P3 in the WCC there. Oh, and McLaren to improve. No alternative-things just can't go other way. They WILL improve. How much, though, is another matter ...
P.S. Note here, that Vettel repeating his 2015 season will be a very tall order. The man was just as good as Alonso was in 2012. Many people haven't realized that yet, so i'm just saying
#BringOn2016!
