It is the the 1959 TT if I am correct, if so the wire wheeled Lotus 15 in the background is the Taylor & Crawley Lotus 15 of Mike Taylor and Christopher Martyn.

Interesting to see people in the background wearing shorts. I wonder if they would be accepted as "period attire" at Goodwood these days?

Heh, yes, if people turned up wearing the attire I've seen in period photos of Goodwood I reckon they'd be told to sling their hook, or directed to the tradesman's entrance.
