Wait, why don't people think the only team using year old engines is under threat?

By the end of the year I think Toro Rosso will be back to where it was in the early days. I think Haas has a good chance of beating both Toro Rosso and Manor, and possibly Sauber, too.

I believe it's mainly based on the level of '15 chassis which was very, very high (I'd say on par with '15 Ferrari). Apparently, this winter they made another step forward in this matter + of course they'll get a proper engine. Let's not forget also about the drivers factor where Toro Rosso has an upper hand.

I think they'll finish 12th.

I hope they finish ahead of Sauber... and behind Toro Rosso. If they finish ahead of Red Bull it would be hilarious, but probably a bad thing for F1. The bitching and moaning about Red Bull not winning were almost unbearable this year.

But for the rest: I honestly don't know.

Mercedes engine, Williams technical support and a car they've been working on for the whole of 2015 should easily put Manor ahead of all of those IMO, at least at the start of the season. Horner said himself that they expect to be at the back at the start of next season. The Renault car will have the same engine, cut and shut into a chassis designed around a Merc PU.

yeah.. nailed it..

Look who's talking

please elaborate..  if you're talking about my manor outlook, I was a lot closer than this prediction.. they still suck.. they're still last, even with the best motor.. the owners left.. I didn't see much evidence that they have any viable means to survive this year..

but. they're plucky little survivors, so I wasn't correct, either.... YET...
