That would have been interesting, no doubt. Still, I met Sir Jackie in a restaurant in Montreal a few years ago during a GP weekend and talked to him a bit about Clark. He was very clear that Jimmy was the best of his generation by a mile. I think he's overly humble,  but I tend to think Clark would win the majority of head-to-head races between them.

They both teamed with Graham Hill in the mid 60's, I guess we could do a teammate vs. teammate cross-comparison like everyone does now to prove that Kvyat is better than Vettel? :drunk:

Fairly confident Clark would have an edge there.

Clark v Moss is the one I would love to have happened. In Lotus 49s.

Jean Marie Balestre in the Brabham BT55, no helmet.

I don't know why but the vision in my head just cracks me up.

DC vs JV? JV would have beaten him in the same car. Damon Hill vs Mika? That would have been an excellent 1998 season. But if it played out, Michael would have won the championship. Mika and Damon would have been taking too many points off each other. I rate Damon Hill a better driver than DC.

Coulthard was more often than not faster than Hill in the second half of 1995. I think he could have taken Villeneuve in 1996. People remember the first pole and that he was fast at the end but for most of the races in between he was pretty weak.

Hakkinen v Hill - no contest, Hakkinen all the way.

This is fun for me to imagine. Here are a few:

I'd like to see Schumi and Alonso swap cars in 2006. I think Schumi would have walked it, but I'd like to see it to be sure.

Speaking of those two, MS 2000 in a 2012 Ferrari alongside Alonso, or 2012 FA in a 2000 Ferrari along side MS.

What would you like to see?

I would have liked to see Alonso in the 2006 Ferrari but believed he would have walked the title if given the Schumi treatment.

That car was dominant in the second half of the year and very close to the Renault in the first half. Even Massa was dominating races at the end of the year while being a mere support act for schumi.

Hill did better than Stewart in 1965 and 1966, and Clark did better than Hill in 1967, but accurate comparisons are difficult; Stewart was the new boy in 1965, and all three were driving mainly new and untested cars in 1966 and 1967.

Well, well, before my time, but the Old Ingliston track near Edinburgh comes to mind?
