"Interestingly regarding Nico, Clear believes he will never be world champion [...] He will never be able to galvanize a team behind him, despite having natural ability up there with anyone."

So Lewis fans can switch the panic mode off? No no no....

"the ability of a world champion driver to manage his team and rally them and the car development behind him. In this respect he couldn't speak highly enough of Michael Schumacher, Lewis, Vettel and Alonso. Men he marked as being truly phenomenally talented and able to direct, inspire and encourage their teams."

Some stereotypes are burnt to hell now

My thoughts exactly.

Some memories you just block out......

I'm sure Jock thought Villeneuve was crazy in '99. Turns out he was right !

I agree with him. Nico will never be WDC, as long as Lewis is at helm.

Clear and JV are close friends. If Im not wrong JV is even the godfather of one of Clears childs. I guess he didnt mentioned him because he didnt wanted to talk bad about him. Or he mentioned him in a neutral way and the guy who posted that didnt found it worth mentionable.

Jock is the best driver mind manager in the business. Watching him work was a real pleasure.

He and Seb will bond like no other.

He has done a few guest spots at Heriot-Watt - our shared alma mater - and they're excellent.  Really sound chap, able to explain the complexities of motor sport in a way that's both clear and engaging.
