Was that ON?  DAMN,....I MISSED IT

Words heard more often than not these days, what with the proliferation of so many racing series on TV and items of interest broadcast on the internet. How the hell are we supposed to keep track of it all ?

Yeah, there are sites like TVracer.com and LiveSportonTV  but there is nothing like the fan base on here.

I think it's time we have a daily list whatever it is the good folks here intend to watch on any given day.

LIVE, Repeats or Ancient History  If it's on..it's all good !

List it in the broadcasts local time, that way this thread will be on the front page forever as the number of "What time is it in MY time zone?" posts will break the servers with the weight of our collective ignorance to anywhere but where we are at any given moment.

So..Feel free to list what it is that YOU will be tuning into, be it on free TV, Pay TV, the Internet, whatever !

Please DO NOT embed direct YouTube feeds here..If the event is LIVE post a link.

Good idea Jp. I always struggle to find times for Indycar. Their website gives me a headache.

Indycar needs a web site like NASCAR has with Jayski.com

If you Google "indycar schedule", there is a list of races and start times/winners before the normal search results. It seems fairly reliable.

soory Should have read your post JP, but I stopped after reading the name 'Cousteau' (humming the theme 'Calypso' by the other icon of that era)

Edit It seems be stuff they didn't show yesterday, like British GT, WEC, moto GP etc.

Hey, just come to the Indycar threads on here. They get posted on Wednesday, then we all spend Thursday-Saturday debating when we all think the race is going to start, and someone posts the correct answer literally hours before the green flag!

I've heard in some motor sports fora people argue about cars or drivers or events or some shit.

Wow, every season I watch all the reviews religiously, but I didn't even bother checking the schedules this year.

I presume it was just Hamilton, Hamilton, EJ wearing stupid shirt, Hamilton, Snooze, Hamilton, politics, Hamilton, Snooze, Hamilton, Hamilton, oh we'd better talk about how crap McLaren are, Hamilton, snooze.

Was I right?  :p

There was also a bit about red bull engines, a Max Verstappen love-in, Hamilton wearing a stupid hat. I had a clicker counter. There were a mere 117 mentions of Lewis in the programme.

That's almost as many as the number of races he's won in the last two years.

You Euros will have no idea what I'm talking about, but 60 Minutes on CBS last night had a segment on Lewis Hamilton. Basically a 10 minute summary of his career and interview with him and his father, plus some hooning at Silverstone in one of the AMG coupes. Mostly a puff piece, but any time I catch an F1 car on mainstream network TV in the US I get excited. Also fun to see Tiny Lewis racing R/C cars at something like age 5 and winning.

The thing is, we've seen 10 episodes of exactly that every year since 2007, multiplied by two since 2011.

We know!  Someone's welcome to start a new thread on it but please say something more than basically 'there's a Lewis Hamilton interview here'. Give me something specific I can draw the focus back to so it isn't just circular arguments of people saying how much they like or don't like him over and over again like usual.

maybe we could say whether this might be be important for the promotion of F1 in the US considering that it was aired on a mainstream channel, on prime time and in one of the most popular programs in the US?

But I guess it would end in the usual discussions, so better not...

Something interesting he said in the interview is he believes he has 7 more years in F1 taking him up to 37 which isn't an unrealistic figure. Kimi is 36.

Which begs the question.. which team will he retire at? Because I can't see him staying at Mercedes for another 7 years. A stint at Ferrari on the cards?

Just wild speculation here, but I think McHonda wlll become competitive again at some point in the next 5 years and he'll head back over there to retire as a Mclaren driver. I think Vettel is gonna be at Ferrari for a long time, maybe a Schumi-length 10+ years, and I can't see them hiring Lewis to be co-number 1, as exciting as that would be.
