Why don't they do what they did back in the F3 1-litre screamer era...and other categories no doubt.....have separate quali & race heats, one for odd nos, the other even nos....then the best so many from each go forward to the final.....

Presumably a lower number will actually turn up, but that is quite the entry. With F4 series all over Europe next year, what is making the ADAC series so attractive to drivers?

Presumably it costs less and there is more money in Germany (and Switzerland\Austria) to sponsor these entries.

Increasing the number of teams, year over year, shows how strong this series is. I think its great they offer qualifying races. Lets more teams and driver get a chance to compete.

They had their fair share of crashes last year. Hockenheim and A1-Ring come to mind as carnage-filled rounds.

2011 Texas had 33, outside of Indianapolis that's the most I've seen start (there was an Indy 500 with 34, but that was an exception).
