I'm not sure how to explain my question.

I'm working on some articles about F1 teams that never made it etc.
When looking in my own database i came across two documents of the Lotus Team back in 1992.

The Documents are about an meeting between Lotus engineers. The compared the Lotus 102D and the Lotus 107 with each other.
In that same document they are speaking about beating the Williams with at least 0,5seconds. But here they speak about an 10X "radical configuration".

Does any of you got an idea what this radical configuration would have meant? And did they use it?
Below are the documents.

This document was first discussed here a good few years ago, in this thread:

The last Team Lotus chassis?

which featured some fascinating insights from someone who was there at the time, posting here as AH746. Unfortunately, and mysteriously, most of his posts relating to this period disappeared, and no-one at the time seemed willing or able to find out what had happened to them.

Some of AH746's material was hosted for him by Ross Stonefeld on his website, but that too no longer seems to be available. If Ross still checks in here, maybe he might be persuaded to repost some of it?

Anyway, check out the earlier thread - there's still some interesting stuff there if one skips through the interminable stuff about Senna.

It is a crying shame all that material went missing, and very weird indeed.

Pity we cant see what Jock thought but AH is still on here in another incarnation an who knows he might post everything up again
Someone on the AH thread asked who was the "jd" listed as being in the meeting. Didn't see a reply from AH but then AH wasn't at TL till the very end so probably didn't know
JD is Dr Johnathan Davies he had done all the active design work on the car an was the real brains of the operation thou Peter wright was the " figurehead"
JD is a VERY clever guy !
