You scored 44/50 (88.00%).
F1 only: 6/6 (100.00%).
Non-F1: 38/44 (86.36%).
That's a very good score! Well done! But have you actually done anything this year other than watch motorsport?
I had many guesses, though.

Ditto.
I got 5/6 on MotoGP which is the only other series I pay any real attention to.

Do you 'confer' with your mate Google?
I consider myself pretty knowledgeable on all things motorsport, but i always suck at this quiz.
For instance, I have no frigging idea how many races Button & Alonso have done. Not a clue. Does that make me a bad motorsport fan?

Well done Marklar
..
I did guess a lot too.. it didn´t help at all though.. 5/6 F1, 13/44 others..

29/50 - not too bad
6/6 F1
23/44 Non F1
similar as myself:
You scored 28/50 (56.00%).
F1 only: 5/6 (83.33%).
Non-F1: 23/44 (52.27%)
I'm pretty happy with my result, but some questions were really hard.
I'm big fan of single-seaters and I've watched every single race of F1, GP2, GP3, F3.5 and F3 in the season, but still didn't know some of the answers from those series.
I've watched about half of the indycar races this season but answered wrong on all 4 questions.
On the other hand I have 3/4 in BTCC but didn't watch a single race of it.

31/50. 6/6 on F1, 25/44 on non F1.
The funny part about that is I got all the F1 questions correctly in a season in which I just didn't bother watching quite a few races, through lack of interest. Seems like I had some lucky guesses...

5/6 on F1 (I got the podium interviewer wrong, which I don't care about as I've usually switched off by then)
16/44 on Non-F1, 36% - which fits in with that I guessed every single one, so therefore would obviously get an average of 1/3
Why so few F1 questions this year?
#25
Posted 25 December 2015 - 13:25
27/50 for me
#26
Posted 25 December 2015 - 13:35
You scored 18/50 (36.00%).
F1 only: 3/6 (50.00%).
Non-F1: 15/44 (34.09%).

Predominantly guesswork. The F1 questions were very easy given the relative lack of attention I paid towards it this year.
You scored 25/50 (50.00%).
F1 only: 6/6 (100.00%).
Non-F1: 19/44 (43.18%).

That's the same as me. I got all the F1/WEC/Blancpain questions right, some DTM and none of the WTCC/BTCC/MotoGP.

Why so few F1 questions this year?
Not just F1 related, but why the lack of questions in general. I seem to remember one year there was a quiz that had 101 questions.
Come on Autosport, pull your finger out.

Non-F1: 24/44 (54.55%).
It should've been 34 but I made silly errors.

Helped by the relatively generous number of BTCC and GP2 questions, plus a few things I was lucky to pick up from MotoGp and whatever else I happened to see during the year.

Not a big fan of all the stats related questions....zzzzzzzz
Fun question:
20. MotoGP: How did Marc Marquez injure his hand in April?
Not fun:
How many races did BRDC Formula 4 champion Will Palmer fail to score points in for the entire championship?
F1: Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso were the most experienced driver line-up on the grid in 2015. How many starts do they have between them?
etc.

Yeah I remember past quizzies were a lot more 'fun' than the constant stats. This one was a bit of a drag to do to be honest, at least in previous years guessing was amusing. With stats you're either right or wrong, and if you don't know the sport (which in my case is pretty much anything outside of F1) its a bit depressing.

F1: 5/6
Non-F1: 19/44
IndyCar: 4/5
WEC: 3/4
Blancpain 1/1
DTM: 1/2
NASCAR: 1/1
Formula E: 2/3 (Surprising given I don't really follow it.)
31/50. 6/6 on F1, 25/44 on non F1.

Old habits die hard. These days I prefer watching e.g. V8SC or NASCAR but surely I know more about what's going on in F1. IndyCar may be the only series where I know the news better than F1.

Had similar results.
Since I was told i didn't pay much attention this year (which in retrospection is true). I was wondering if that is a subtle message from Autosport to cancel my subscription
In other words, the message ought to be worded a bit different.

Not fun:
etc.
The question about Marquez injury was one of those of which I knew the answer.
Such things compute much better in my brain than numbers and stats. Guess it's hard to remember numbers for me because I'm using 3 different languages, where the way one speaks the numbers is different from one another. Just yesterday I made that mistake again.
However I was spot on with the other podium position for FI, which is sort of statical as well.

13/50
4/6 F1
9/44 Non-F1
I knew 3, so essentially I got 10/47 guesses. Seeing as all questions were a choice of 3, probability has it that an ape would actually do better than me. Or any animal for that matter.
