Hello everyone and happy new year to all the board

Yesterday, after a fun simracing session at Jarama, I was reading a bit about the history of this track

I saw various sources mentioning that the layout actually built by Hugenholtz was a lot different than the original project.

The change was forced by the decision of the Spanish R.A.C.E club, that "cut" the land in two areas, limiting the space available for the track as the other half was to be occupied by a golf club (still visible in aerial pictures).

So, does anyone have maps or information about the original layout that Hugenholtz had penned?

I like Jarama as it is, after the modifications in the nineties, but I wonder how better the track would have been, with a wider area to develop on

I only know that Hugenholtz wasn't happy with the amount of space he got. I would have made a Zandvoort or a Suzuka if he got the right space..
