Hi everybody. Wondered if any of you could help?

 

Currently restoring my Sports Motorcycles Ducati 888 Lucchi' Rep' that I rode in the Battle of the Twins series in 1989 and any pictures from that season would be fantastic to help me remember what stickers and stuff the bike ran way back then.

 

Spectator snaps, professional shots, padddock pics- not bothered really. Anything would help.

 

It's lain in stacker boxes since about 1995 and is now back on the bench, engine rebuilt, frame and roling parts refurbed and refreshed. The final paintwork is going to be a bit of a stab in the dark as it is because, weirdly,  I've got practically no shots at all from that season. It was red. I can remember that bit.

 

Being a pre-tinterweb race series, there's virtually nothing I can source on line either.

 

It's a long shot I know but this section of this site seems to unearth some real gems so I've got all my fingers crossed!

Mark, have you tried contacting any of the photographers from that era? I think Phil Masters is still around and has a website, if you search for him on google he might be able to turn something up for you.

Hi Mark, whilst i cant really offer any help to your post i was wondering if you in fact ended up winning this championship in 1991?

I notice you were leading the series going into the final round.
