I find it odd that people, who feel the need to defend Maldonado, always need to bring up Hulkenberg out of nowhere. "Oh look at Hulkenberg, unlike Maldonado he has not won a race, he even hasn't got a podium. If Pastor is cr@p, how cr@p must Nico be?"

I mean, what the hell. What does that have to do with the fact that out of the current grid Maldonado has the worst racecraft/rate of collisions out of any drivers? Or does anyone really think Hulkenberg has worse racecraft than Maldonado? If so, I am looking forward to someone creating a hashulkenbergcrashedtoday.com website.

If its also targeting on my reply : I just found it ironic.

The thing is that whenever Maldonado is crashing, even if its not his fault, we are fast to blame him. Its almost a reflex. Then you have drivers like Kimi or Hamilton: if they are crashing we are always getting devided opinions: the fanboys argueing always in favour, the haters and those with an antipathy always against. No matter what. Then we have drivers where accidents are downplayed: one of them is Hulkenberg. He crashed, self-inflicted, at one point of the season in three consecutive races, has besides Maldonado, Grosjean and Alonso (granted) the most first lap incidents. Stil he didnt even had close a big backslash like others (esp Maldonado) have when they are doing the same. Of course he is not bad, he is significantly better than Maldonado and I expect him stronger next year, but I feel that sometimes the critizism on Maldonado is not completely fair. It is also ironic that he isnt even the driver with the most penalty points.

Yeah, but he wouldn't say Prost, was an average or not so good driver? They didn't like each other.

Prost was a gentleman and a very competitive and genius sportsman and multiple champion, Mansell sees himself as royalty who thought so highly of himself who focused far too much of his attention on his competitors and perceived himself as the star character in some sort of pantomime. It's a combination that would never work with many of the teammates of Mansell's.

Not quite fair to Mansell. He worked well with Rosberg who was relatively uncomplicated and straightforward too.

Mansell could have blocked Prost's move to Ferrari but instead he allowed it. He expected Prost to be "unpolitical" or at the very least, unable to dethrone him after his stellar year @Ferrari.

In addition, Prost's star has lost a bit of lustre and I am sure Mansell expected to be faster (being Prost to Prost's Lauda so to speak).

Instead, Prost was actually faster, enjoyed much more reliability, and wasted no time in getting the team behind him.

Poor Mansell was left to pick up the scraps and he was not amused by what he considered as Prost's unfair politicking. Which is why Mansell was such a bastard at Williams later on. No way, another driver would usurp his #1 position again, not if he could block it.....
