Modena's teammate there in 1992.

Whoa, cool.
I honestly really enjoyed the race. I am not a nostalgic person by far, but sometimes it is helpful to go down memory lane.

Well, I enjoyed that - for the brief time I was following along. A shame this didn't get as much support as last time. Guessing the date (Valentine's Day evening) might be something to do with that.
But hey, at least the people who were here had their priorities right.
Now excuse me, but I need to get back to 2016. The Red Wings are playing the Bruins in 15 minutes...

Whoa, cool.
Not only that, but Zanardi and Moreno drove for Jordan and were in this race.

Ugh, I despise both teams. Dallas Stars all the way baby.
I enjoyed having a lazy Sunday (I think I deserved one) watched the Rally Sweden powerstage, rewatched old races - 2000 MotoGP Philip Island, 2006 F1 Hungaroring, some old school Touring cars and now Cart with you lot. It's been a good Valentines.
Had enough lovin', Sunday is for racin'.

Some of the moves were great!
Others not so much.
I enjoyed it but the big question is, is that our last hurrah with classic races our do we have one more race in us before everything kicks off again?

I think we can do at least one more thread like this. Blast Road America '99 before March brings back our usual sunny Sundays.

How can you not like Zetterberg and Datsyuk?
I'll be down for doing this again, hopefully at a time when we can get more people involved. I think this is one of the best ideas I've seen on this forum - so all credit to you, Sheep!

Sorry I missed this, guys. Just got back from visiting the parents in Cirencester (hi OvDrone) this weekend. Glad you enjoyed the race.
Depending on how you feel about NASCAR at Atlanta and Vegas and Sunday morning WSBK at Phillip Island, I guess it's 28 Feb/6 March for Road America 1999.

That was great fun again. Shame there weren't more people here but I suppose Valentine's Day might take priority (will 90s CART be my valentine? ).

Great stuff, just checking the threads. Unfortunately ($orta) I've been in the middle of nowhere Arizona (Quartzsite) selling rocks, minerals, gems and fossils since the day after Christmas, we've been closed exactly 1 day since then, and teh inet is at 80's dial up speed, so I couldn't participate.
Good times though out here though, stupendously great weather and the crowd here very similar to this board since my fellow dealers/miners come from all over the world. After hours we've solved every world issue at the campfires. Even did Koran + Bible studies with my buds from Afghanistan, Morroco and Pakistan which was great for all of us There are about 200 of us that live together in caravans and tents in the dirt. And all of us are looking like it.
Fantastic thread Sheepmachine and OV Drone, thanks for the throwbacks.
Back to civilisation soon, and streams that can handle the vids!

I was late to the party, and my biggest surprise was that Dennis Vitolo was still around (8 second off pole!). That's almost as bad as Carmen Jorda!
