The answer is (probably) yes.
That car was the last one I ever made (I think it might have been the Tamiya 1/12th) and although that was many years ago I should still have my set of pictures used for details. Let me find it...

one of my next models will be the Ferrari 312T4, Gilles Villeneuve, Hockenheim 1979 in scale 1/20, now I have some questions.
Was the air funnel in Hockenheim orange or black?
I think Villeneuve's seat was the complete season 1979 total black and Scheckter's seat was black and white, can anybody confirm this?

The black inside of the cowling at Monza may have been part at Ferrari's yearly approach to come with a modified car for their home race. No definitive answer (yet). Good luck with that Hiro kit!

The black cowling appears to be unpainted plastic.
