He completed the race. It would be a penalty.

Vettel is going to have a 5 place grid penalty for the gearbox next race followed by a grid penalty for getting a lift back and causing that incident...
Really !!!!!!!

Oh man! Is Vettel seriously getting the blame for this? That was clearly Stroll at fault
Hmmm. Stroll just seemed to be minding his own business from what I could see.

All I can think of is Stroll wanted to pick up marbles and Vettel didn't think of it.
I have no idea if blame can be attributed to either.

How many points does he have on his licence?

Too little replays so far, but it looked like yet another unnecessary move. Shesh.

This race sums up his season. Amazing drive but then such a dumb move.

He doesn't make the Parc Ferme rules.

I can't see how this was Vettel's fault
#43

Seb has been driving amazingly this season but it will be defined by brain fades like this.
This.

This is how it looked to me from the onboard, I'd love to see different angles.
Look at the steering wheel. He keeps the same amount of lock, nowhere was he turning IN to Stroll. It was Stroll who was going straight.

Posted 01 October 2017 - 08:46
Do you have Stroll's onboard? Or how can you really tell from Vettels...
Don’t need strolls and won’t see anything from it. Just look at sebs.

Yeah, once again Vettel with 80% of the track available to him on the right but still expects the guy on his inside to just disappear.
The issue is that the guy on his inside forgot to turn.

He doesn't make the Parc Ferme rules.
That rule applies for quali
#49
Posted 01 October 2017 - 08:46
Yeah ,but this is Vettel so he'll just give a heartfelt apology even though he did nothing wrong and get a stern final, final, final, final warning.
No I think Webbers penalty was because he ran across the track dangerously, not the taxi ride

Vettel is becoming very good at making things harder for himself!
