The interviews appeared today, some interesting stuff there.

http://www.repubblic...0-C4-P7-S1.4-T1

Some excerpts, sorry for the translation.

"Fia, which abroad is called sarcastically, Ferrari International Assistance. What do you you think about it?

"Helping Ferrari has always been the smartest thing to do. And it's alwasy been made by technical ruling"

Quest'anno secondo lei è stata aiutata?
In passato o quest'anno?
"Con questo motore".
E da chi? Come?

"Have they (Ferrari) been helped?"

"In this case, nobody knows. Except who did it... At a certain point they've been helped with engine, for sure.

"In the past or in this season?"

"Present engine."

"Who? How? What do you mean?"

"Even for Mercedes the point is that. to win against Sauber is one thing. To win against Ferrari is another thing."

Su chi scommette per il prossimo anno?
"Mercedes.

"Who would you bet on for the next season?"

"Mercedes. They have resources to do all they want. If they would have needed it this year, they could be finding more pace in every moment."

That interview is two years old, BE talked today about Merc domination too:

"Key moment was whe Ross Brawn was in the FIA Working Group that was defining the engine from 2014 onwards. He knews exactly what was going on. He was there non because he was a good engineer but beacuse he was a Ferrari man. Ferrari sent him. Then he moved to Mercedes. And he brought the know-how with him."

Ferrari were definitely getting a lot of favors from FIA in the mid to early 2000. Since then I don’t think they’ve had much help from FIA, except the shambolic few races at the end of 2008. Fuji and Spa 2008 were disgusting.

I had a really hard time making sense of the words in the OP but if those are accurate translations of Bernie's words reads how I think it reads this really explains soooo much about the current financial situation between Ferrari and formula 1..a financial situation that is a total disaster for the sport (health wise), and explains a great deal about why f1 has the problems it does keeping teams around and viable.. and it makes you wonder who was really running the sport during Bernie's time

If Ferrari had a knob and asked Bernie to polish it off it seems Bernie would make sure it is the shiniest and cleanest knob in the land with Bernie servicing this knob many more times a day then Ferrari asked or intended and doing it with a giant smile on his face
