Looks like the T251 got furthest of the one time starters and the Shannon covered the least distance.
Apologies for going slightly OT

Ferguson - 168 miles
Stebro - 202 miles
Derrington-Francis (arguably still an ATS) - 89 miles
Lyncar - 152 miles

Tec-Mec - around 30
ENB - 198
Then there's a whole bunch of BMW-based F2 specials, the Balsa, the Klodwig, the Greifzu and so on, that raced in 1952-3, can't remember which ones only had the one World Championship start.

Yes you probably are (why else would you be on TNF?).Am I the only person exasperated by a website that calls itself "F1 Stats" which has a listing of constructors by number of "Grand Prix" and then includes all the Indy constructors that never appeared in a Formula 1 race nor appeared in a Grand Prix? Or am I just an anorak?
What annoys me is how these sites ignore non-Championship grands prix and F1 races. Admittedly some had couple of sports cars and old racing cars, eg Davidstow, but others had the full World Championship field, eg some Daily Express trophies.
But the younger generation don't seem to care. I got "roasted" on another forum when I popinted out that a site that one member was praising had got the idea of team mate wrong and listed Sir Stirling and Sir Jack as team mates. [/rant]

I search photos of his Simpson helmet in close-up from 1980 (and 1981).
He rode into then in Brabham.
I want paint my Simpson helmet in replica.
Thanks in advance, Adriaan.

Found these on Google hope they are useful Verhage, they are certainly way better than the only photo I have of Hector in the middle of the pack at Brands hatch in 1980.

Would it make you feel better if I simply admit I am not half the anorak I thought I was ?

I'm trying not to be too 'anoraky', honest! I have a vague recollection of Hector using a RX1 or Bandit (the "Starwars" helmet as it was nicknamed), but Simpson did do a more conventional looking helmet as well (I think Andretti used one?) but that had cut outs to sit over the shoulders, and the ones in the pictures looks like a Bell. Mike will know for sure.
I'm going to go and sit in a dark corner..................

No time for sulking Steve
I've been on racing sports cars.com do the stickers on this picture of Hector in Austria tell us anything about what kind of helmet he was wearing ? Or how about this one undated and untitled ?

If you pardon the expression, Bells, both of them!
There will be a picture somewhere, but looking on the internet is the proverbial needle in a haystack!

This could be the greatest 'class photo' in racing history, with most of the living 500 veterans.

Who can help me with the pictures of Hector Rebaque?
I am looking at the pictures of his helmet in close-up from 1980 (especially the front of his helmet).
I especially want to know what he had on the sponsorship front / bottom of his helmet.
Maybe you have Grand Prix International, Autosport, Autosprint or Rombo sheets where Rebaque which could stand?
It is his helmet during GP of Italy, Canada and USA 1980.
He drove in Brabham.
Thanks in advance.
