Thank you.

I'm interested in this too - GA is the maximum I can afford. Though I'll be at Hungaroring for the whole weekend, so I hope I can find out good places during friday.

I am on Grandstand Gold 1. Maybe we will have a beer on a trackside on Friday?

One more thing - are GA tickets available on venue on Friday or is there any risk of them being sold out? Are they cheaper or more expensive than those bought through internet?

KOBER: GA tickets are sell for weekend and for Sunday only. So if you buy weekend ticket is also valid for Friday.
Anybody has practical expierence from GA in Hungary, where is the best place to watch?

There are several places worth of at Hungaroring... but the problem is always to get up early in the morning... and because of the beauties of Budapest it is quite a problem
But the best places are: on the top of the small hill over the last curve over the Silver 3, or on the green left to Silver 1... don´t forget to take your binoculars....
anyway, since they built up those stupid Silver3 Silver4 and Silver5 tribunes it is better to buy a tribune ticket (bronze you can buy for 120$, it seems they´re not going to sell them all anyway)

Thanks Heki. Because we will come to circuit at 6:00 AM in Saturday it should be early enough to get fine place. The same in Sunday morning. I was just wondering if it is possible also see the big screen from same GA place. I was there in 1987 and there was just one grandstand at that time. We will see. I´ll check it in Saturday and we´ll go on Sunday early morning right to best place I ´ll find day before.

If you want to follow the race also on a big screen, then I recommend that one opposed to the Bronze, over which there´s the best view from GA... but you see only that one curve live :(

So how many Atlas F1 readers there's coming? Should we try to organize something... .:drunk:

Do any of you guys know that when we (I and 5 other) should come to the track as we don't have any accomodation? We had a camping place booked in advance but the bank screwed up the payment.

There should be many camping areas near the track, but will they be full by friday morning. I think that's the best we can do as we leave from Finland tueday morning.

UreaBorealis I don´t think the camping will be full in Friday, because only 3 grandstands are sold out so far. I think not too meny Finnish spectators coming to your favorite GP this year, because of Mika... and then there should not be a problem with parking, camping, etc.

I'll be attending with a couple of friends, grandstand Gold 1 ... What's the best way to get to the track? Is there a shuttle bus service or should we take a cab? We have rented a flat downtown, near the Botanical Gardens.

We are seating at:

Grandstand Gold 1

Seats 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

On Friday there will only two of us, more people os Sat and allof us on raceday of course.

Whoever what's to come, say hi and share traditional Altlas BB posters's beer or two (oops, I will be driving, so I betterl be careful with beer, I heard Hungarian police does not have a sense of humour in this department) you are welcome.

See you at the races!!!

There's free bus shuttle from Arpad hid (bridge) or it is possible to go by HEV (suburban railway) to Mogyorod.

I'm leaving today, so if you meet a long haired guy with glasses, green Pilsner Urquell/Jordan cap and white UNLUCKY STRIKE T-shirt, stop him, that's me. Enjoy the weekend.
