The same cannot be said about the paddock Club though.
There, there are about 20 members who add posts regulary.
Another 20 who add posts often .
And a lot of people who post in there now and again. if anything its more vibrant than ever. As is the tech forum.

1. Most top 50 members do the bulk of their posting in the paddock Club.
2. New members Stick to the RC.
3. Nostalgia seems to have its own members all together.

on driver bashing.. I dont agree at all, it seems at perhaps an all time low in rc. there were times when it got quite excessive.

I agree with you all of what you said.
Haven't really had a good Driver bashing debate in RC for a couple of months now. I remember a JV one about 2 maybe three months went for days and several pages.
As for paddock club I haven't had time to be in there very often lately, will for the next couple of months though.
But I will say one thing though there seems to be missing a few of the better, or flaim baiting, posters from RC. A couple off the top of my head are RainbowTrout and Schumigirl. Wonder what happened to them (well Schumigirl might have just had exams a gone home for a holiday).

New members aren't allowed in the paddock club, which would explain why they never post there.

If you've noticed a decrease it may be due to it being summer in the Northern Hemisphere where the majority of members are - people are outside more and also exams and holidays tend to be taken at this time of year.

True. Ive noticed fewer new threads in the PC. I suppose its winter here so ive increased my posting (and lurking) and probably notice lest posts because im here more often as opposed to when i used to visit less often and find pages of threads i hadnt read yet

Anyways, Bulletin Board stats:
March-April, being the start of the season, are ALWAYS the busiest and most active - it's been like that every year (sadly I don't have stats from before June 2000, because we had the old BB back then). So I would say all things considered, the above stats look rather normal, even better than you'd expect all things considered.
For the heck of it, I had a look at the number of threads that have been active in the past 24 hours in the English Forum of DailyF1 (I would assume they are our primary competition in forums, cosidering the moving inbetween of memebers). They have there 36 threads that have been active in the past 24 hours. Here, in Readers Comments alone, there have been 57 -- some 60% more activity.
As far as the overall site goes, we currenly have a little under 3,000 subscribers; there have been a drop of 50% in pageviews (impressions) from April, and a drop of 60% in unique hosts (visitors) at the same time.

Have you checked on the French forum on Dailyf1 lately??,
There is a 7000 posts thread there. I donĀ“t speak french but amazes me that kind of number talking about Alesi.
BTW, which is Atlasf1 record in posts by thread?

Bira, do these numbers fit with your current business plan? Or are they above or below what you would have expected?
