Did anyone see tonights' programme? Quite interesting, but didn't REALLY give you a lot of new info.
BUT, the worst thing for me was that for the OPENING CREDIT. they actually managed to spell his name wrong!!! On the OPENING CREDIT! For God's sake, can't these people check things???
Who is this Aryton Senna bloke then???

I've heard of Ayrton Senna, but not Aryton Senna, must be an upcoming driver.

Must confess, I never noticed the seplling erorr.

I enjoyed the program - if enjoy is the correct word. It was very poignant seeing Michele.

It confirmed my long-held view about the cause of the crash, and I thought they presented it quite well. It was just too damn SHORT!

Forgive me, but did they state that it was the impact of the wheel & tyre that actually killed Ayrton? I thought it was a piece of suspension penetrating his crash helmet that did it???

Frank Dernie didn't really make it terribly clear. I suspect to anyone watching with no knowledge of the accident, it may well have sounded like the damage was done by the wheel rather than a suspension arm attached to that wheel.

Didn't Dennis Rushen christen him ' Ary ' during their 1982 FF2000 season together. Certainly Martin Brundle has referred to him by that name in the past.

Still doesn't excuse Ch 4's error though.

Agree with you Barry, it was very poignant seeing Michele

With that spelling mistake I did wonder about its credibility but I thought it was okay, especially explaining in layman's terms for all the non-motor sport people watching (if there were any). But had the crash simulation been identical to what happened 7 yrs ago, Ayrton would be alive!- the wheel (suspension) didn't hit him - mind you what does that actually matter...
As for Michele, poignant certainly & I was sad, but then when you saw him, tanned, heavier & thoroughly happy with his lot, you know he died a happy man which is a comfort. Poor old Ayrton didn't...
