I noticed that there is no Lotus 66, why is this? Chapman not liking the number?
Also, I read on http://www.lotuscarc...org/ltdtype.htm that a Lotus 103 was designed but not raced in 1991. Why was this? No cash, or unpratical?

Seems the 103 was just an aborted project, for whatever reasons.
The webpage states that the 102 was Lamborghini powered, it is not completely true. The 102B had Judd EV V8 power. The 102C was a testbed for the Isuzu V12. And the 102D had Ford HB V8 power.

Something that I was just thinking of is that 1990 was also the last season for Camel and with it any serious money into the Lotus camp. I wonder if they had started the 103 thinking they would have money then had to do with a updated 102.
I think the Isuzu engine was a V12 and only ran once in public testing.
There apparently was also a 113 that was never completed...
