No, the Minardi had a BMW engine.Originally posted by maxim
In 1980 (or 1981?) didn't Michele Alboreto win an Euro F2 race at Misano driving a Minardi-Ferrari ?

No, the Minardi had a BMW engine.
In 1981 a Minardi-Ferrari ran at the F2 race at Donington Park, drived by Paolo Barilla (retired)

I'm currently looking through Autosports from the start of 1976 and there are 2 separate news items stating that Osella were testing the Romeo Ferraris engine with a view to using it in Formula 2 that year (this being the year that F2 was opened up to full racing engines). Anyone know if these tests were carried out using their existing F2 chassis or in the back of their G6 car?

In my database of Sportscars in the 70's, I have 23 entries for cars with Ferraris engines. Makes are Lola (T292/T294), Osella (PA3/PA4), GiPi (one of them called a 1000) and AMS. Years 73-80. Most are the common V8-1992 but one could be a 1300, and the GiPi 1000 is in the 1 Litre class.
I would love to give you an Excel-like table, but I don't know how to post one on a forum.
