Atlas Voting Championship 2002: Hungary

Remember to consider the whole weekend, not just the race.
------------------------------------------
Step 1 - GP takes place & voting opens
Step 2 - Everybody votes for the three drivers they genuinely think did well in the GP. One top driver and two running up. If I feel you are simply voting for the fav driver each time I'll put you on the blacklist for a while. (I won't be voting myself, to make it fairer) Also not arguing over somebody elses votes or again on the blacklist you go. Posts should be along the lines of:
...Top Drive: Driver X - The one guy who impressed you most over the GP Weekend
...Runner Ups : Driver Y, Driver Z - The next two guys who impressed you.
Make it clear which Schumacher you mean, and which driver is Top Drive. Don't use the abbreviation MS without further clarification, as it could mean both Michael Schumacher and Mika Salo.
Step 3- Voting will close in about a week
Step 4 - I'll add up the total number of votes. 2 pts for a top vote and 1 for a runner-up vote. This will produce a 'race result'. Should drivers have the same voting score then I will split them by who has had the most Top Votes. If that fails then simply in race result order.
Step 5 - The drivers will then be awarded championship points on a 10-6-4-3-2-1 system.
---------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
Rate the race
------------------------------------------
Please rate the race from 0-10, using the following guide.
Quality of race
This should be a reflection of how good the race was, not how much you liked the results. Please don't give it a one or two just because driver X failed to win the championship. Think about how much it had your pulse racing and you guessing at what the end result was going to be. Use the guide below to help, and think carefully. Try to compare it not just to the last few races, but all the grand prix you've ever watched. Votes of 9 and 10 should be quite rare.
10 The best race I've ever seen
9 Contender for the best race of the last few seasons
8 Contender for the best race of the season
7 Brilliant race, I was on the edge of my seat for a lot of the race
6 Better than average, more than a few on the edge the seat moments
5 An average race, nothing spectacular but worth watching
4 Below average, too few exciting moments
3 Well, there was one or two moments of interest
2 That was completely predictable
1 I struggled to watch it all the way through
0 I slept through most of it
Satisfaction with the results
Please also rate the race in terms of how satisfied you are with the results. This one
should be based on if driver X wins the championship or not! Also factors such controversy
over DQ's that sour the event should be considered.
10 All the right results, and done with style
9 All the right results, if not in the best manner
8 Mostly the right results
7 Mostly the right results with a bit of luck
6 Some of drivers/teams I liked did well
5 Neither happy nor sad with the results
4 My likes didn't quite manage to do well
3 My likes did quite badly
2 My likes did quite badly and my dislikes did good
1 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well but I'll give them credit for doing it well
0 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well and the right ones did badly
Note: people who are on the Voting Championship blacklist can still participate in Rate the race.

1) Kimi - His move on Montoya, and also how he moved away from his teammate when they had clear road ahead.
2) Ralf - The only one remotely being able to keep the pace with the Ferraris
3) Massa - Great weekend, too bad that his Sauber was no match against the McLaren in race trim
Q 3.
S 9. It would be a ten if Massa would have gotten one point.

Runner-up: Rubens Barrichello: saturday, he did both the fastest and the second fastest times. During the race, he was flawless
Felipe Massa: great starting position, better start. Mature while handling the pression of quickier cars behind him. Without McLaren's strategy, he would gain some deserved points.
too bad there's no place for Fisico
Quality: 5, sadly. It's becoming hard to say something Nice about Hungaroring
Satisfaction: 6. Too bad, Felipe

1. Kimi Raikonnen - Had it not been for the bad qual session - he would have finsihed on the podium. Fantastic overtake of JPM. Great speed!
2. Ralf - He was mostly unseen but he drove a great race to stay as close to the Ferraris as he did
3. Massa - Totally outclassed his teamate and gets the nod over Fisis cos he is less experienced. Shame he didnt get a point
Honourable mention: Fisi
Quality : 5
Satisfaction: 5

Runner ups: Michael Schumacher
(Constrained by the objectives, but you felt the speed within him-fastest lap etc)
Kimi (better then Rubens, if Rubens really wanted to earn a higher grade, he would of come out more earlier then MS, who braked heavy letting him go, pole was good, but race matters more)
Satisfaction: 5 (Ferrari team objectives, can't really say with confidence MS and RB were going at it, very much supporting Rubens for this race)
Quality: 6 (this was way better then Imola, Ferrari pitstops were interesting, MS's fastest lap, Montoya/Kimi battle is what enhances it from a 5, McLarens coming from the back, it could of been as worse as Imola, but was not, at least we were intrigued how the Ferrari pitstops would work out.)
