By the way, I'm still looking into the T-shirt thing. If I can find a place to do it for a good price, I'm going to send free ones to the top three overall finishers. I'll also send one to the person who has the most "race wins."

Superb design!
Pity, I have no chance to win one ( for me.
Anyway, here is my guess for Suzuka: 21

And so to Suzuka...well, it is a circuit that he knows better than most, but on the other hand, it is a driver's circuit, and as we all know, he isn't much of a driver.
So let's go for a final try of LAP 20

The other option is to print on some iron-on-transfer paper....they make great t-shirts

DREW
Hey Toyoter: How much? I'd kinda like a farcical souvenir of this Schumi-ful year. I could put my USGP AYFC picture on the back...final "finishing position"...Heck Toyoter, your contest may well have been the highlight of my 2002 GP season...THANX!

Toyoter,
I'd just like to say that as farcical as this contest has been, it's about the only thing that's been interesting or fun about the whole boring season.
Thanks for giving us all something to look forward to every 2 weeks.
P.S.: We've gotta figure out who will be the worst driver/car package next year and do it again. It just won't be the same with AY, though.

Hey, maybe if we all pitch in, we can sponsor AY next year and have "AF1" on the side of the Minardi and keep our little contest going...

I couldn't put my pick in in time...
I hereby request to allow my late pick to be considered by the Toyoter FIA due to force majeure! I was unable to put the pick in because of two 70+ hour weeks in a row. That MUST count!
I would accept a 3 lap penalty?
Puuuuhllleeeeeezzzzzzeeee!
If I am allowed a pick I'd say 16!
Cheers,
Andre

Now, the only benefit to be had from a late guess is that you can see if Yoong is likely not to qualify. This is a small benefit to say the least, so at the risk of giving up a possible win in the HLWITTLY 2002, I'm for int2str pick being counted, penalty or not. Of course the final desicion is up to Toyoter as always. Just wanted to make my side of the matter clear and that there will be no arguing or protesting coming from me whatever you choose.

I feel for you! NOT!!!
Here we have a nice analogy of what can happen in F1 if the race leader slips on a little oil on the last laps (No names - cough, cough, Kimi, cough, cough).
This is a competition for Lazy Bastards and if we go into protesting and such (and God forbid, the protest is successful), then I think that we can forget about next year.
I've had a wonderful time watching this years races only because of this competition. Thank you Toyoter for your effort!

I agree Bjorn.Originally posted by Bjorn
Awright.. Not sure but it looks like me and Panda are tied in the lead if int2str's pick isn't counted. If his vote IS counted, he takes the lead... unless he gets the 3 lap penalty, in which case we're all tied in 1st place if my calculations are correct. :

I havent seen the race yet, and I dont know what lap Yoong was lapped on, but I'm happy to let Andre's guess be counted. On the other hand, Toyoter did more or less say that the top 3 would be reciveing the 'specail prize', and if all 3 of us were tied at 1st at the end of the season, I think that would be pretty cool.
We could all get this 'specail prize' and all have the boasting rights to having won the championship. That would be something special, and I'm hoping that this is what happens,
but like you said its all Toyoters decision.
It was a great season, and I'm happy just to have taken part.
Thanks again, Toyoter, and I look foward to next years competition.
Lets hope we're betting on Verstappen !
