"It" being my long-awaited set of Time and Two Seats by Janos Wimpffen. "It" joins my other recent additions in the sports car world of Prototypes by JA Martin & Ken Wells, plus John Starkey's Racing With A Difference: The History of IMSA.

And most importantly, placed in my hands by his very own hands, Burt Levy's The Fabulous Trashmobile.

Plus a few other things such as Karl Ludvigsen's Alberto Ascari.

Don, could you please let me know if the racing record at the end of the book starts with Egypt in 1947 or his first race in 1936?

Have "Time and Two Seats" for over a year now. It's just great. If I had to chose only 1 book from my collection of over 800 Motorsport books, I think it will be this one, or comes very close.
Only pitty you can't read it in bath or in bed : too heavy.
But I pick it up often to search for something. You will enjoy it!
