Can anyone help with this?

I am trying to find out what happened to one of the Grosser Mercedes that was originally owned by King Zog of Albania. It was later owned, and driven in London, by the ex-husband of a friend of mine, and we have often talked of the car.
Do you have any knowledge of the fate of this particular car? It still had the King's Coat of Arms on the doors, shades of the Rolls-Royce "Darling Buds of May".

Any help or re-direction would be much appreciated.

I would first check all of London's junk yards, next I would visit small body repair shops in the area. ;)

Zog received a red Mercedes convertible from Hitler as a wedding present. Is this the car in question Dennis?

If a Grosser Mercedes could disappear without trace than anything else can.

Almost off topic .... King Zog's son, Leka, lived in South Africa for many years, and was quite a popular figure over here. A tall chap, his nickname is, of course, 'Tiny'. :rotfl:
