A car that can carry a 44 gallon drum in the boot and come 13th in the UDT World Cup Rally without looking like a FIAT Multiplex or any other kind of MPV can't be all bad can it ?
That does say a lot for the styling, the 44 gallon boot!!
When they were first released I saw one that had a HB Torana embedded in the boot. It did not fit!
you can make anything remotely suitable for rallys. That is pure preperation.
While they were not a bad car to drive in V8 form they were not a patch on a V8 Kingswood or Falcon. And had less power than both a 302 Ford or 253 Holden. Not many of those engines left now as they all have corrided out. The 2.6 litre 6 cyl was pretty lazy in a car that big. Ok in a Marina, though then those things did not steer too well!
Oh and the finish was pretty crappy too, the trim all fell too bits.
The Force 7 were better looking,, sort of. And collector car, there is about 3 and are museum pieces.
