Guess the Podium: Malaysia

I personally find this Sepang circuit one of the best recently-built tracks, in fact in my eyes it is not in disadvantage put along with some classic circuits (many of them already removed from F1 schedule ).
One thing always unrest me in the far east GPs is that, because of my position in this round planet, I have to check and recheck if the race is on Sunday or Saturday It would not be the first time I miss the qualification and almost the race for this reason. When I at last get it rght and go to watch the race in TV, the first laps are very difficult to follow properly because the sleeps in my eyes are "codifying" the image. Last year I thought first lap incidents were just cars glueing in my eyes because of my sleepy state of mind. When finally I am well awake, the race is usually so decided that it's better to fall sleep again in the chair.
Sorry for this long introduction, I'm not in good form for this season, I lack training posting "sillynesses" here. I'll catch up as GPs go on ;)
***Important thing here!***
As always I'll put the rules below. Nothing has changed, in fact I'm cutting&pasting them from last year's ;) . Anyway I'll like to introduce you a new possibility: I'm thinking in giving 2 or 3 points to anybody who miss a (or several) round. In this way, one is not so severely penalized by falling to enter one or more rounds. In fact, last year I privately used that system to check what could happen, and I found that the frist ten or so positions were virtually unchanged (because they did more than three points on average, of course). The advantage is not in the fight for the "title" but in the fight in middle positions (that are usually funny to follow ). According to last year data, 3 points would be fine, but just in case this year is more unpredictable, I would this year use 2 points instead.
Please, let me know some feedback about this, and if it is ok, we will use this "miss = 2 point" system along the season.
***End of important thing here, back to usual useless stuff***
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It consists in guessing the three firsts in F1 races. You do an ordered guess (i.e. MS-JPM-RS) and a score is given according to real podium results. The scoring system is as explained here:
Suppose you do the guess MS-JPM-RS.
If MS is 1st, 3 points
if MS is 2nd, 2 points
if MS is 3rd, 1 point
If JPM is 1st, 2 points
if JPM is 2nd, 2 points
if JPM is 3rd, 1 point
If RS is 1st, 2nd or 3rd, 1 point
It another driver makes a podium position, it doesn't give any points.
The key for this system is not "gambling" on the exact position but to do a realistic shot at the relative merit of each driver in that GP. For instance, you are not penalized for JPM being first and not 2nd, as the penalty comes by not scoring with MS's first position.
In order to have a reference I will enter two "dummy" players: Bernie and Max (the names were chosen randomly ). Bernie always guesses the firsts three qualifyers, and Max always guesses the firsts three classified in WDC current points table. Can you outscore B&M?
Any guess can be done before one hour before the official first start of the race. We will use the "official" Atlas Forum clock to resolve close entries.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And now, be lucky and/or brave with your guesses! Someone betting again on David? Will race Barry Cello again with the ARM device? Will play MS again with his bargeboards when boring in the race? Will "Missil" Monty win the race for Frank in Mansell style (don't even advertising there are other people after him)?
I'm here waiting your posts, awake by night with sleepy eyes, getting used to Malaysian time zone!

Suggestion for your "missed rounds" scoring. Miss 1 round your guess for the previous round is re-entered. Miss 2 rounds in a row and you are out.
Either way I think if you miss 2 rounds in a row you don't score any points for the 2nd and subsequent rounds you miss.
