Some conflicting information confuses me a little bit. It is the actual vee angle of the Sauber Petronas SPE 02D (based on '97 Ferrari Tipo 046/2 engines).

The '97 Ferrari 046 was a 75-degree design, so I assume that this is the vee-angle used in the '98 Sauber-Petronas. This is also stated in the July '98 issue of Racecar Engineering.

However the information in the '98 Technical Analysis by Giorgio Piola, states 80-degrees for both the '98 Ferrari engine AND '98 Sauber engine...

Surely erroneous?

The Sauber web site says 75degrees, for what it's worth.
