------------------------------------------
Remember to consider the whole weekend, not just the race.
------------------------------------------
Step 1 - GP takes place & voting opens
Step 2 - Everybody votes according to these rules:

* You can give a driver either three, two or one point. (Or zero, which is default.)

* You can distribute no more than EIGHT POINTS (but less if you want to).

* You need to vote for at least two drivers.

If I feel you are simply voting for the fav driver each time I'll put you on the blacklist for a while. (I won't be voting myself, to make it fairer) Also not arguing over somebody elses votes or again on the blacklist you go. Posts should be along the lines of:

...3 points: the driver/s you think did the best job during the weekend
...2 points: the next best ones
...1 point: the ones after that

Make it clear which Schumacher you mean, and which driver is Top Drive. Don't use the abbreviation JV, as it can mean both Jacques Villeneuve and Jos Verstappen. Also be clear about Ralf Schumacher and Ralph Firman.

Step 3- Voting will close in about a week

Step 4 - I'll add up the total number of votes. This will produce a 'race result'. Should drivers have the same voting score then I will split them by who has had the most Top Votes. If that fails then in reversed race result order.

Step 5 - The drivers will then be awarded championship points on a 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 system.
---------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Rate the race
------------------------------------------
Please rate the race from 0-10, using the following guide.

Quality of race
This should be a reflection of how good the race was, not how much you liked the results. Please don't give it a one or two just because driver X failed to win the championship. Think about how much it had your pulse racing and you guessing at what the end result was going to be. Use the guide below to help, and think carefully. Try to compare it not just to the last few races, but all the grand prix you've ever watched. Votes of 9 and 10 should be quite rare.

10 The best race I've ever seen
9 Contender for the best race of the last few seasons
8 Contender for the best race of the season
7 Brilliant race, I was on the edge of my seat for a lot of the race
6 Better than average, more than a few on the edge the seat moments
5 An average race, nothing spectacular but worth watching
4 Below average, too few exciting moments
3 Well, there was one or two moments of interest
2 That was completely predictable
1 I struggled to watch it all the way through
0 I slept through most of it

Satisfaction with the results
Please also rate the race in terms of how satisfied you are with the results. This one
should be based on if driver X wins the championship or not! Also factors such controversy
over DQ's that sour the event should be considered.

10 All the right results, and done with style
9 All the right results, if not in the best manner
8 Mostly the right results
7 Mostly the right results with a bit of luck
6 Some of drivers/teams I liked did well
5 Neither happy nor sad with the results
4 My likes didn't quite manage to do well
3 My likes did quite badly
2 My likes did quite badly and my dislikes did good
1 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well but I'll give them credit for doing it well
0 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well and the right ones did badly

Note: people who are on the Voting Championship blacklist can still participate in Rate the race.
On the blacklist for this race: Nik Garth.

3 points to Fernando Alonso – Great weekend, without a flaw. And who would say, Alonso is in direct fight for the c’ship. My, oh, my.

2 points to Michael Schumacher – the usual suspect does it again. It was his idea to debut the f2003GA in Spain... maybe we are still to see what the car can do, but was indeed a good start.

1 point goes to Mark Webber, once again his performance was beyond his limited car
the same goes to Christiano da Matta. The race points came at the right time – for him and for the team.
And finally Ralf Schumacher, who spent the whole race fighting with the car and with the other drivers, will also get a single one; don't spent it all in one place, the three of you.

Quality: 6. Well, when the TV directors remembered to show the race and not only Alonso, it was entertaining. But I understand what they are feeling
Satisfaction: 8.

Re-read the post arse clown. "Minimise" is the key word, just as your joke vote at Imola did.

3 points for F Alonso (and for Renault, for such a fine car this weekend).
3 points for M Schumacher (and for the new F2003-GA, which is also a fine car).
2 points for Da Matta, for an excellent drive.

---
Quality of race: 6. Better than average. Spain is usually a boring race, but this year it was a little bit better.
Satisfaction: 6.

Ferrari Weapon,
Alonso didn't impress you? Maybe remind you of a young Schumi of 1992?

Re-edited, you know Alonso is going to get alot of votes, I like Alonso, agree with you, but I think MS is vastly underated this weekend, and some scoring is disappointing for him.

3 Alonso (this guy is the real deal - it was like watching MS back in his early Benneton days)
2 M Schuamcher (He probably was better than we think as the Ferrari wasnt streets ahead)
1 DaMatta (good to see him doing well and drove a great race)
1 Firman (gets a valuable point and held on to the other drivers well!)
1 Webber (gets those deserved points finally)

Quality - 7 (much better than expected for Spain)

Satisfaction - 6 (for Alonso, DaMatta, Webber, Williams boys and Firman.)

2 Points- Fernando Alonso : Fantastic performance
2 Points - Christiano da Matta : Qual grid 4, 1st points for Toyota
1 point-Webber

More votes are welcome.

And pleeeeeeeease, remember that there are TWO Schumachers! I'll register poorly specified Schumacher votes on Michael this race, but don't expect me to do that all the time.
