------------------------------------------
Remember to consider the whole weekend, not just the race.
------------------------------------------
Step 1 - GP takes place & voting opens
Step 2 - Everybody votes according to these rules:

* You can give a driver either three, two or one point. (Or zero, which is default.)

* You can distribute no more than eight points (but less if you want to).

* You need to vote for at least two drivers.

If I feel you are simply voting for the fav driver each time I'll put you on the blacklist for a while. (I won't be voting myself, to make it fairer) Also not arguing over somebody elses votes or again on the blacklist you go. Posts should be along the lines of:

...3 points: the driver/s you think did the best job during the weekend
...2 points: the next best ones
...1 point: the ones after that

Make it clear which Schumacher you mean, and which driver is Top Drive. Don't use the abbreviation JV, as it can mean both Jacques Villeneuve and Jos Verstappen. Also be clear about Ralf Schumacher and Ralph Firman.

Step 3- Voting will close in about a week

Step 4 - I'll add up the total number of votes. This will produce a 'race result'. Should drivers have the same voting score then I will split them by who has had the most Top Votes. If that fails then in reversed race result order.

Step 5 - The drivers will then be awarded championship points on a 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 system.
---------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Rate the race
------------------------------------------
Please rate the race from 0-10, using the following guide.

Quality of race
This should be a reflection of how good the race was, not how much you liked the results. Please don't give it a one or two just because driver X failed to win the championship. Think about how much it had your pulse racing and you guessing at what the end result was going to be. Use the guide below to help, and think carefully. Try to compare it not just to the last few races, but all the grand prix you've ever watched. Votes of 9 and 10 should be quite rare.

10 The best race I've ever seen
9 Contender for the best race of the last few seasons
8 Contender for the best race of the season
7 Brilliant race, I was on the edge of my seat for a lot of the race
6 Better than average, more than a few on the edge the seat moments
5 An average race, nothing spectacular but worth watching
4 Below average, too few exciting moments
3 Well, there was one or two moments of interest
2 That was completely predictable
1 I struggled to watch it all the way through
0 I slept through most of it

Satisfaction with the results
Please also rate the race in terms of how satisfied you are with the results. This one
should be based on if driver X wins the championship or not! Also factors such controversy
over DQ's that sour the event should be considered.

10 All the right results, and done with style
9 All the right results, if not in the best manner
8 Mostly the right results
7 Mostly the right results with a bit of luck
6 Some of drivers/teams I liked did well
5 Neither happy nor sad with the results
4 My likes didn't quite manage to do well
3 My likes did quite badly
2 My likes did quite badly and my dislikes did good
1 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well but I'll give them credit for doing it well
0 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well and the right ones did badly

Note: people who are on the Voting Championship blacklist can still participate in Rate the race.

Let's see:

2 points to to Fernando Alonso. The Renaults are in a very good shape and Alonso seems to be the great driver to show it. A great saturday, a better Sunday. Almost get out of the race in the beginning due a touch with Barrichello, but carried on.
Two points also to Michael Schumacher. Fast when he needed to be. As usual. Flawless race. As usual. Absolute control on every stage of the race. As usual. A victory. As usual.
And to Ralf Schumacher, pole and a competent race.

1 point to Montoya. A great recovery after a silly mistake
Also to Barrichello - he managed to hold Kimi even with a car with a bagel bording missing.

Quality - 4 - to few overtakings
Satisfaction - 7

DaMatta 1 point - unlucky should have got a deserved championship point
Wilson 1 point - I don't care how light it is its a Minardi and it shouldn't be in the top 10 that much

Michael Schumacher - 2 points , flawless in race, though not as good as usual in quals
Ralf Schumacher - 2 points - terrific Sat quals, fast ( tho perhaps not as aggressive as should be) in the race
Fernando Alonso - 1 very good race and quals performance barring making a braking mistake to let JPM through
JPM - 1 point - good race barring mistake
Webber - 1 point ( he puts the Jag up where it doesn't belong on the grid)

quality - 6 ( too few overtaking manouevres, but tight tense race)
satisfaction - 7 ( if fisi had done something that would have helped it become even more satisfying)

Honourable mention to Verstappen & Webber & Panis

Can I give a -1 to Raikkonen considering he screwed his qualifying by throwing it off circuit?
That way I could award one of the above 3 drivers a well deserved point instead!.

Michael 2 (A competent but wasn't really pushed as he should have been)
Alonso 2 (Seemed like an excellent drive, but with Trulli's Renault going left and right a true comparison is lacking)
Montoya 2 (Spin due to a mechanical error saves a point. Poor qualifying but a gutsy race)
Ralf 1 (Just for his qualifying effort)
