Strangely enough, only one person managed to guess that Jos would complete 14 tours in Canada before being lapped by the brothers Schumacher. 14 isn't an unusual number, and yet Jos manages to foil every one of us except...

IMHO

Congrats, IMHO, you are this week's genius of the year. In the overall standings, Pioneer extends his already massive lead by another three points, Zawed jumps from 4th to 2nd, and IMHO climbs from 8th to 5th with the victory:

My "Jos blows up quickly" theory was a bit of a flop, although 9 points isn't too bad.

Can I have some clarification please. Is this competition "On which lap will Jos be lapped" or is it "How many laps will Jos complete before he is lapped" I ask this because the AtlasF1 lap charts show that Jos completed 14 laps before he was lapped on the 15th lap.

I ask this because you have given the correct answer as 14 laps, whereas I would have thought the correct answer was 15 laps. That is: it took 15 laps to get past Jos.

This will make a 1 lap difference to my future entries.

Hey, I've moved up to P24.

I couple more races and I might even make it onto the grid!

Here are the rules as they were posted before the first race in Australia:

1) Guess how many laps Minirdi's Jos Verstappen will complete (as in he has to pass the start/finish line) before he is overtaken for the first time by the leader of the race. If, for example, he doesn't qualify or he blows up on the grid, that counts as 0 laps. If he is passed on lap 15, that means he has completed 14 laps.

2) The winner for a race will be the person who's score, or the difference between their guess and the actual number of laps, is closest to 0.

3) The race scores will be compiled after every event towards the championship tally. The top finishers for a race will be posted along with the full championship standings following each race.

4) If you miss a race (forget to add a guess), your total for that week will be the total number of laps in the race.

5) If Jos misses a race due to injury or incarceration as a result of beating up fans, his replacement will be used in the competition.

6) Your guess must be posted in the appropriate thread by 12:00 AM (Atlas time) on the night before the first qualifying session (Thursday night by midnight). I will always post the deadline, so if you miss it, tough sh!t. No exceptions here.

7) This is a competition for lazy bastards who don't want to think too much, so any complaints you have about any results, etc, will likely be completely ignored.

Sorry about that, lukywill! I added your score and the correction will show up in the results after the next race ;).

Thanks Toyoter.

I refer to rule 7

This is a competition for lazy bastards who don't want to think too much

as my excuse for not doing the research myself. ;)
