------------------------------------------
Remember to consider the whole weekend, not just the race.
------------------------------------------
Step 1 - GP takes place & voting opens
Step 2 - Everybody votes according to these rules:

* You can give a driver either three, two or one point. (Or zero, which is default.)

* You can distribute no more than eight points (but less if you want to).

* You need to vote for at least two drivers.

If I feel you are simply voting for the fav driver each time I'll put you on the blacklist for a while. (I won't be voting myself, to make it fairer) Also not arguing over somebody elses votes or again on the blacklist you go. Posts should be along the lines of:

...3 points: the driver/s you think did the best job during the weekend
...2 points: the next best ones
...1 point: the ones after that

Make it clear which Schumacher you mean, and which driver is Top Drive. Don't use the abbreviation JV, as it can mean both Jacques Villeneuve and Jos Verstappen. Also be clear about Ralf Schumacher and Ralph Firman.

Step 3- Voting will close in about a week

Step 4 - I'll add up the total number of votes. This will produce a 'race result'. Should drivers have the same voting score then I will split them by who has had the most Top Votes. If that fails then in reversed race result order.

Step 5 - The drivers will then be awarded championship points on a 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 system.
---------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Rate the race
------------------------------------------
Please rate the race from 0-10, using the following guide.

Quality of race
This should be a reflection of how good the race was, not how much you liked the results. Please don't give it a one or two just because driver X failed to win the championship. Think about how much it had your pulse racing and you guessing at what the end result was going to be. Use the guide below to help, and think carefully. Try to compare it not just to the last few races, but all the grand prix you've ever watched. Votes of 9 and 10 should be quite rare.

10 The best race I've ever seen
9 Contender for the best race of the last few seasons
8 Contender for the best race of the season
7 Brilliant race, I was on the edge of my seat for a lot of the race
6 Better than average, more than a few on the edge the seat moments
5 An average race, nothing spectacular but worth watching
4 Below average, too few exciting moments
3 Well, there was one or two moments of interest
2 That was completely predictable
1 I struggled to watch it all the way through
0 I slept through most of it

Satisfaction with the results
Please also rate the race in terms of how satisfied you are with the results. This one
should be based on if driver X wins the championship or not! Also factors such controversy
over DQ's that sour the event should be considered.

10 All the right results, and done with style
9 All the right results, if not in the best manner
8 Mostly the right results
7 Mostly the right results with a bit of luck
6 Some of drivers/teams I liked did well
5 Neither happy nor sad with the results
4 My likes didn't quite manage to do well
3 My likes did quite badly
2 My likes did quite badly and my dislikes did good
1 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well but I'll give them credit for doing it well
0 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well and the right ones did badly

Note: people who are on the Voting Championship blacklist can still participate in Rate the race.

a difficult one to vote, but let's see...

3 points To Ralf Schumacher. He was fast on saturday, started the race with a bold overtake manouver and, unlike 90% of the field was flawless during the race.

2 points To kimi Raikkonen, due to his pole, his race and specially for pushing the track fiscal. Whaddaya know, he's human

One point to the season wonder boy Fernando Alonso, for defending his position and managing to cross the line even with the car full of problems. However, even if it was due to a mechanical failure, breaktesting Coulthard was not exactly a gentlemen act. Likewise

Michael Schumacher, who showed a coulpe of things very clearly: the F2003 GA is as good as the Mac's and Williams, if not somehow inferior; Ferrari engine is not as fuel-efective as BMWs and Mercedes; and Michelin is sweeping the floor with Bridgestone. Even so, Schumacehr did a great race. Could he avoit the touch with Montoya? Certainly. But so Montoya. A normal accident when one put those great racers side to side. And the finally, 1 point to

Button, who is making himself in a good position on the drivers market for next year.

Quality - 4. The TV almost lost Montoya x Schumacher fight, and didn't replay it enough in order for us to take a conclusion. Also didn't show da Matta's stop and go. Ralf cruised to win, diminuishing a little the excitment.
Satisfaction - 8 A deserved victory to Ralf, good to see RB on podium, the C'ship continues unpredictable.

Kimi Raikkonen - 3 points (perfect all weekend - just unlucky)
Ralf Schumacher - 3 points (brilliant drive and very good win - would have been great to see him and Kimi battle - he would have been the only one to take the fight to Kimi)
Juan Pablo Montoya - 1 point (for overtaking MS)
Nick Heidfeld - 1 point (quietly made his way into the points from the back of the grid)

Quality : 7
Satisfaction 7 (more if only Kimi had made the distance)

3 points: Ralf Schumacher (good qualifying on more fuel, good race, did what was required for him, could he have catched Kimi? If Kimi raced on, it would of probabley have been a different tune, but as he was out of race with many laps to go, it's ralfs day.)

2 points: Nick Heldfeld (great drive to get into the points, make up for his bad qualifying job.)

1 point:Kimi Raikkonen (good qualifying, but unlike others who think he should of won, this is not Hakkinen last lap Spain 2001 thing, there was like half a race to go, how would those laps have gone, mistakes? We don't know, what was all the extra speed for? Did it cost mclaren their reliability, we don't know, unlucky, but alot of the race left to race, other drivers went and got points, thats racing.

1 point: Michael Schumacher (fastest on the bridgestone in qualifying, fought it out to the last lap with Alonso, maybe the Montoya thing could of been avoided, but fight back to pick points up for 4th place, a championship performance.

1 point: Jenson Button (good solid drive for a bad Bridgestone weekend )

Quality 7 (as decent as you can get on that track)
