Finally, here are the results for the French round of the Guess the Times competition. Due to the weather, it was another poor round, which will not affect the overall standings for most competitors.

Congratulations to lukywill, who wins this round. The best guesses for each session: race addicted was 4.721s out on Friday, Pascal was 0.154s out on Saturday, and Bjorn was 0.043s out on race day. If it weren't for Friday's rain, there would have been a lot of very good scores this round.
The overall standings this time are the best 5 of 10 races. From after the German GP (Round 12), the best 8 times will also be put up for each competitor, and this will determine the overall winner at the end of the season. The standings so far...

arcsine still leads, as this round's guess was the worst of the 10 rounds so far and was not counted (a bold guess for rain, but unfortunately on the wrong day...). The thread for the British GP is now open (belatedly - sorry for the delay).

Perhaps an idea to get rid of this rain problem in the future: How about subtracting the round winner's time total from all participant's results? So for this round, lukywill would have had a nice, well-earned 0.000 and I a 0.250 second result? This would make all rounds make a difference in the championship.

Do you mean "seconds behind the winner"?

I think that could work but I think you would have to class arcsine as being a lap down for France.
