In the first post-war UK circuit race at Gransden Lodge in 1946 one Leonard (Leo?) Davenport drove Reg Parnell's ex- Percy Maclure Riley (later passed to Sheila Darbishire and then to Geoff Richardson). He also drove the Riley in a few sprints hillclimbs in 1946. I believe he was a wel-known motor cyclist. Can anyone provide more details on him?

Leo H. Davenport won the 1932 Lightweight (250cc) Tourist Trophy on the Isle of Man on a New Imperial; he was also fourth a year later. With a bit more digging I'm sure I can come up with a few more results.

Thanks, Michael.
By Googling, I also discovered he won the 1930 Ulster GP Junior race.
And that he designed a was involved in Royal Enfield's last days in the 1960s.
Any other Motorcycle results would be welcome. BTW is there a good web source of bike results?
