I want to know if somebody has any information about the 64 cars and their pilots of the marathon of the 1969 route, because I have seen lists and I see that they don´t show every competitors. That´s why I would like to know if somebody has or knows about this subject.
Thank you very much for your help.

Popi,

Coincidentally, we are presently discussing that item at The Spanish Forum and we do of course welcome you there...

As usual, we will post back here whatever findings we make that do need a translation ;)

There is Transport Source Book (collection of magazine articles) on the Marathon de la Route which is the official name for the 84 hour race.

Unfortunatly there is almost no coverage of the 1969 race, other than an Autocar article written by Innes Ireland.

An other book: "Marathon de la route 1931-1971" by JP Delsaux. I've seen recently an advertisement about it (price: 30 Euros). About 1969, there are only 3 pages including the entry list (#1 to 71), the results (1 to 19), a short text in French and 8 black and white pictures.

If anyone has that book, is it possible to scan the pages about the 1969 MDLR? I myself am particularly interested in the pictures.
