Back in the thirties, some sprints, and a concours d' elegance, were held at the Scheveningen Boulevard, near The Hague, the Netherlands:

At Scheveningen there were some meetings around 1905 and in the twenties. You can find some pictures of the 1905 edition in the Dutch book HET BEELD VAN DE AUTO 1896 - 1921.

But in the 30's ? I'm doubtful.

Hi Paul,

If you take a look at Fons Alkemade's book '100 jaar KNAC', you'll find some pictures of the events on the pages 142-143. He writes that 1924 was probably the last time they raced on the boulevard, but the concours d'elegance went on for years, even after WWII. He got the pictures from the archives of the Haagsche Courant. My guess is you'll find some pictures in the archives of Spaarnestad as well. And what about the NCAD?

Good luck!
