Photo shows a 1957 JOMAR roadster/sports racer sold by Saidel Sports Racing Cars (Manchester, New Hampshire, USA) to Nick Falcone of Yonkers, New York. The car is equipped with an FWA Coventry Climax engine in fiberglass over TVR tube frame chassis. It is thought to have competed in the New England and east coast venues of the day.
History of the car from '57 to '79 is being sought to document who owned it, where it raced, and how it faired in competition. The car remains unrestored but fully operational.
Any information or leads would be gratefully appreciated.

Nice looking car, much improved over the donor TVR.

Presumably it is a Climax engined TVR (some of the originals were) re-bodied in the States.
The UK licencing people would still see it as a TVR.
This doesn't really help you, but it might be an idea to look at what climax engined TVRs were imported into the States.

Here's a link that may help:
http://homepage.mac....vr43/album.html
Then check under TVR history for Jomar.
