I'm pleased to announce that the International Motor Racing Research Center has just released "Grampaw Throttlebottom on Sportive Automobilism" a collection of articles that first appeared in "Sports Car" in 1950. Bound in booklet form, these articles were written by Miles Collier who, as Grampaw, delved into the mysterious world of sporting cars and those that fancied themselves as enthusiasts. There is some prescient commentary on driving technique as well-- predating Taruffi! I'll stop short of calling these articles a "hoot" but they are definitely reminiscent of a simpler time and a most entertaining read.

Copies are available from the Center; www.racingarchives.org for our contact information.

Outstanding! Like many, I can only hope that this is the first of many publications that the IMRRC will make available in the coming years.
