This is what you do:
Post a reply here with your guess on how the WDC final standings of this year will look; there are 702 (18*39) points to be distributed. Points are assigned to specific drivers, not "the second Jordan seat" or anything like that. If you use the term "second Jordan driver" in your entry, those points will be placed on the driver who is in that seat (ie not Heidfeld's) for the Australian GP. You can edit your entry as much as you like until the deadline, which is at the start of the first free practice of the first GP of this season.
This is how points are scored:
For each point over 702 that you distribute, you'll be penalized one point. You gain one point in the competition for each F1-championship point that you've placed right, which means:
-If a driver has a higher final WDC score than the amount of points you've placed on him, you'll get as many points from this driver as you've placed on him.
-If the driver scores less than you've trusted him to do, you'll only get as many points as he has managed to score.
An example: if players A and B have placed 30 and 40 points respectively on Button and Button scores 36 points in the WDC, the players will score 30 and 36 points respectively for Button.
The competition is open for entries until first free practice starts at Melbourne.
This is my prediction:
Driver Points Montoya 98 M Schumacher 92 R Schumacher 82 Barrichello 79 Räikkönen 74 Coulthard 61 Alonso 58 Trulli 40 Button 32 da Matta 21 Panis 19 Webber 12 Sato 12 Fisichella 11 Massa 5 Klien 4 Heidfeld 2
If you think some driver will come in as a replacement during the season, feel free to place points at that driver too.
Good luck!
