Hello,
Currently, I try to make inventory of the various chassis of March 742 which took part of the
European Championship of Formula 2 in 1974.
What I miss especially are the serial number of these cars with their respective team.
Can you help me with a list of the different chassis?
Many thanks.

Not a complete list, but the best I can do
5 - Jo Vonlanthen
8 - Trivellato/Giancarlo Martini
11 - Vonlanthen spare
12 - works-Antar/Jacques Coulon
13 - Jimmy Mieusset
20 - Alessandro Pesenti-Rossi
21 - Diulio Truffo
22 - Maurizio Flammini
24 - BP Team/Jacques Laffite
26 - Scuderia Vesuvio/Cosimo Turizio
27 - Jean-Claude Favre, then Loris Kessel
28 - Carlo Giorgio
30 - Team Harper/David Purley early
Obvious omissions are the works cars, at least one more Trivellato car, the Obermoser car and a second Team Harper entry. I believe 30 cars were built, including several sold to Japan

For the anecdote, and if I 'm right, there was an ex works 732 s/n 10, that has been upgraded in '74 specifications for the Brian Lewis Racing, and renumbered by March in 742/10B, as the 742/10 existed already.
The car was entered for Vittorio Brambilla in 1974.

This is an excellent piece of information, Thank you Adam F
If 24 was driven by Jacques Lafitte, it is then fair to assume that 19 , the "other" BP chassis , was the one driven during the 1974 championship by Lafitte's team mate / good friend / part sponsor , the ( talented) gentleman driver Jean-Pierre Paoli .
