Hi Fellas...need some research help for some modifications on a slot car in my collection...I'm looking for a color pic of the 1964 Corvette Grand Sport #2 that A.J. Foyt and John Cannon raced @ Sebring 1964. I want to confirm that the wheels were metallic gold and there were marker lights on the roof? Also were the side pipes black? If anyone can post a pic I'd really appreciate it. HS

hans, I was there as both corner worker and spectator, but I'm afraid I can't be much help in your search. Wish I had a photographic memory, but I don't!

I don't know how much help this will be, but I seem to recall that the wheels were a brushed aluminum Halibrand knockoff, the side pipes were a sort of rust colored red (primer?) with an aluminum heat shield over them and no roof lights.
