There is a couple of events/ pics that are very well known. John Harvey in the Bob Jane McLaren at Mt Fuji.Mentioning a typhoon

And Kevin Bartlett qualifying the Channel 9 Camaro at Bathurst in very heavy rain.

As a low light you could also show Jim Richards crashing the AWD Nissan Patrol twice in about 3 corners causing the end of the race. And his 'win'

First one was an accident, second one was no excuse driving 11/10th on THREE wheels!

I guess that a few out there with these pics.

Wasn't that the race Moss wished he'd been driving the 4WD Ferguson P99 instead of the Lotus?

Not instead of the Lotus. He first retired with the Lotus, then took over the Ferguson (from Fairman, I think).

In those conditions, he might well have wished he was driving a Massey-Ferguson !

The Gimli round of the 1975 Formula Atlantic Championship - I wonder if Gilles Villeneuve's snowmobile experience gave him a bit of an advantage?
