------------------------------------------
Remember to consider the whole weekend, not just the race.
------------------------------------------
Step 1 - GP takes place & voting opens
Step 2 - Everybody votes according to these rules:

* You can give a driver either three, two or one point. (Or zero, which is default.)

* You can distribute no more than eight points (but less if you want to).

* You need to vote for at least two drivers.

If I feel you are simply voting for the fav driver each time I'll put you on the blacklist for a while. (I won't be voting myself, to make it fairer) Also not arguing over somebody elses votes or again on the blacklist you go. Posts should be along the lines of:

...3 points: the driver/s you think did the best job during the weekend
...2 points: the next best ones
...1 point: the ones after that

Make it clear which Schumacher you mean, and which driver is Top Drive. Don't use the abbreviation JV, as it can mean both Jacques Villeneuve and Jos Verstappen. Also be clear about Ralf Schumacher and Ralph Firman.

Step 3- Voting will close in about a week

Step 4 - I'll add up the total number of votes. This will produce a 'race result'. Should drivers have the same voting score then I will split them by who has had the most Top Votes. If that fails then in reversed race result order.

Step 5 - The drivers will then be awarded championship points on a 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 system.
---------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Rate the race
------------------------------------------
Please rate the race from 0-10, using the following guide.

Quality of race
This should be a reflection of how good the race was, not how much you liked the results. Please don't give it a one or two just because driver X failed to win the championship. Think about how much it had your pulse racing and you guessing at what the end result was going to be. Use the guide below to help, and think carefully. Try to compare it not just to the last few races, but all the grand prix you've ever watched. Votes of 9 and 10 should be quite rare.

10 The best race I've ever seen
9 Contender for the best race of the last few seasons
8 Contender for the best race of the season
7 Brilliant race, I was on the edge of my seat for a lot of the race
6 Better than average, more than a few on the edge the seat moments
5 An average race, nothing spectacular but worth watching
4 Below average, too few exciting moments
3 Well, there was one or two moments of interest
2 That was completely predictable
1 I struggled to watch it all the way through
0 I slept through most of it

Satisfaction with the results
Please also rate the race in terms of how satisfied you are with the results. This one
should be based on if driver X wins the championship or not! Also factors such controversy
over DQ's that sour the event should be considered.

10 All the right results, and done with style
9 All the right results, if not in the best manner
8 Mostly the right results
7 Mostly the right results with a bit of luck
6 Some of drivers/teams I liked did well
5 Neither happy nor sad with the results
4 My likes didn't quite manage to do well
3 My likes did quite badly
2 My likes did quite badly and my dislikes did good
1 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well but I'll give them credit for doing it well
0 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well and the right ones did badly

Note: people who are on the Voting Championship blacklist can still participate in Rate the race.

3 -M.Schumacher(great pole and race, very professional, no weaknesses.)

2 -Button (very solid weekend, just qualifying was the blip, always helps to create chances, save the car in the race more, maybe back off towards the end, otherwise great race, Sato was good as well, but he just didn't seem comfortable on the limit Button was on, he made a costly mistake and let Button through.

1- Barrichello (good, but 2nd best for the quali and race, nothing remarkable, but decent for the results)

1- Fisichella(good quali, had engine power problems in the race, Ralf spun him, a good effort, problems none of his making.

1- Montoya, not a great quali, but ahead of Ralf, didn't look like a win, but good race up until his engine had problems

Michael Schumacher - 2: Would be 3 but I don't want to go on a cool down list, and I think I'll have 15 more opportunities to vote Michael #1. Maybe there should be a Michael Class, and then vote for everyone else :p Pole, win, fastest lap again, perfect

Non-Michael Class
Jenson Button - 2: two podiums in a row, solid drive
Takuma Sato - 2: Nice weekend from him, and a good result despite Ralf's efforts to take him out
JPM - 1: Was best of the rest until his car let him down, totally outshining Ralf at this moment
C Klien - 1: For taking the fight to Kimi

Honorable mention: Alonso-nice race through the field negated by 2nd qualifying screw up in a row

Dishonorable mention: Ralf   driving like an idiot; Webber  likewise

Quality - 7
Satisfacton - 10+(can I do like Spinal Tap-"This goes to 11")

Sheesh, many drivers shine on this race

3 points To Michael Schumacher. New track, unknow conditions, and he drives like he was on his backyard.

2 points to Takuma Sato. Despite the Accident with Ralf, was a stellar race, a great saturday. Proved he deserves the seat. BAR has a great pair of drivers

1 point to Button. Who would know? BAR is a force on c'ship, and the british is delievering very well. Flawless weekend, just likeBarrichello, steady and fast as always. And a point to Trulli, who gave Renault some preciosu points, in a weekend where his teammate made lots of mistakes.

Too bad there's no place for Klien or Montoya.

Quality: 8, for sure. A great track, lots of fights for positions, different landscape. A mix of what F1 has of more modern with it's oldest traditions (royal families and all that)

Satisfaction: 6. Bad luck for Montoya

Michael Schumacher 2 ( great quals despite mistake, good race, tempted to give him 3, but frankly the package helped him a lot so I'll take off 1 point)
JPM 2 ( fought valiantly in quals and race)
Button 1 ( OK quals, good if unspectacular race)
Sato 1 ( good overtaking, good quals, a mistake or two tho')
Klien 1 ( exciting, if mistake prone)
Trulli 1 ( solid race)

Quality 7 ( very good midfield action)

Michael Schumacher - 2
A man in total control. I wanna give him a maximum "3", but given that we only have a total of eight points to spread out... a marginal two would be good enough then.

Button - 2
Second consecutive podium finish.

Sato - 2
Despite the accident with Ralf, he had a wonderful weekend with his new team. Sato deserved more than just one point.

Christian Klien - 1
His overtaking on KR actually woke me up.

Fernando Alonso - 1
A disappointed Qualifying Saturday, but crawling all the way from the last row. He can do better next time.

Quality - 7
Satisfacton - 10 -> Michael made another hat trick :D
