I have movies, amateur styles, from Silvio Moser on 8 and Super 8 material. The Swiss Italian Television has converted the usable material to PAL VHS Video Cassette. The time and the conversion have also influenced the quality, not very high on the original.

I tried to make clip’s for the Internet use and have problems to find the way about size of file and quality (Ulead Video Studio 6.0 LE). For example a 3.28-minute clip from Sebring 1965.

MPEG 720 x 480 brings 145.6MB

MPEG 320 x 240 brings 36.2MB http://www.silviomos...Sebring1965.mpg

AVI 720 X 480 brings 6.33MB http://www.silviomos...Sebring1965.avi

I tried also RealOn and QuickTime but was not able to find a good result. May by some wear can help my to find the right solution

Sorry my error, the calculation of the AVI clip is wrong, clearly not for using with the net.

The Mpeg file will by next active, its something wrong with the real Server size and the promised size.

Here the RealOne file with 3.6MB, I think still to big and I also don’t lick the quality.
