------------------------------------------
Remember to consider the whole weekend, not just the race.
------------------------------------------
Step 1 - GP takes place & voting opens
Step 2 - Everybody votes according to these rules:

* You can give a driver either three, two or one point. (Or zero, which is default.)

* You can distribute no more than eight points (but less if you want to).

* You need to vote for at least two drivers.

If I feel you are simply voting for the fav driver each time I'll put you on the blacklist for a while. (I won't be voting myself, to make it fairer) Also not arguing over somebody elses votes or again on the blacklist you go. Posts should be along the lines of:

...3 points: the driver/s you think did the best job during the weekend
...2 points: the next best ones
...1 point: the ones after that

Make it clear which Schumacher you mean, and which driver is Top Drive. Don't use the abbreviation JV, as it can mean both Jacques Villeneuve and Jos Verstappen. Also be clear about Ralf Schumacher and Ralph Firman.

Step 3- Voting will close in about a week

Step 4 - I'll add up the total number of votes. This will produce a 'race result'. Should drivers have the same voting score then I will split them by who has had the most Top Votes. If that fails then in reversed race result order.

Step 5 - The drivers will then be awarded championship points on a 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 system.
---------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Rate the race
------------------------------------------
Please rate the race from 0-10, using the following guide.

Quality of race
This should be a reflection of how good the race was, not how much you liked the results. Please don't give it a one or two just because driver X failed to win the championship. Think about how much it had your pulse racing and you guessing at what the end result was going to be. Use the guide below to help, and think carefully. Try to compare it not just to the last few races, but all the grand prix you've ever watched. Votes of 9 and 10 should be quite rare.

10 The best race I've ever seen
9 Contender for the best race of the last few seasons
8 Contender for the best race of the season
7 Brilliant race, I was on the edge of my seat for a lot of the race
6 Better than average, more than a few on the edge the seat moments
5 An average race, nothing spectacular but worth watching
4 Below average, too few exciting moments
3 Well, there was one or two moments of interest
2 That was completely predictable
1 I struggled to watch it all the way through
0 I slept through most of it

Satisfaction with the results
Please also rate the race in terms of how satisfied you are with the results. This one
should be based on if driver X wins the championship or not! Also factors such controversy
over DQ's that sour the event should be considered.

10 All the right results, and done with style
9 All the right results, if not in the best manner
8 Mostly the right results
7 Mostly the right results with a bit of luck
6 Some of drivers/teams I liked did well
5 Neither happy nor sad with the results
4 My likes didn't quite manage to do well
3 My likes did quite badly
2 My likes did quite badly and my dislikes did good
1 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well but I'll give them credit for doing it well
0 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well and the right ones did badly

Note: people who are on the Voting Championship blacklist can still participate in Rate the race.

3 points for two drivers: Michael Schumacher, not so good at qualy, but at completelly control of everything on race. Good defence of position, great speed when needed, flawless. A great victory. And Jenson Button, who now is on another class: he is fighting for the title, proving that a very good car, like this year's BAR, is not enough. It's necessary a mature, competend driver. Who can be absolutelly thrilling when needed (saturday) and capable of think and race for the best result possible (sunday)

1 point to First, Alonso. Showed that, if the track doesn't give conditions, you must create yours. Must try. The manouver over Ralf was not the cleanest one, but at least, he tried, unlike drivers like Barrichello, who drove in an absolute burocratic way. Also another point to Raikkonen. Same reason. Nothing to loose, one got to try. The heavy car strategy proved right. No mistakes during race, a well-deserved finish.

Quality of the race: 4. It's sad, but facts are facts: Imola is no longer a good circuit for F-1. We'll miss the old Imola, not the present chicane fest

Satisfaction: 6 Bad for Rubens, bad for Massa, but great for Button. And it's good to see Kimi back

3 Points: Michael Schumacher (stella race pace, too hard to ignore, qualified on more fuel then Button, held off jpm, 2 storming laps before 1st pit)
2 Points: Jenson Button(good quali, good race although not good enough.)
2 Points: Fernando Alonso
1 Point: Webber

Quality: 6 (Michael was great to watch, Montoya/Michael scrap, suspense of Button's pace early on)Given f1 these days, a exciting 12 laps is a treat, for a while Button and Schumacher looked good for a long duel, it was refreshing to see someone new challenging MS for a while.

3 points - MS. I wonder how fast that Ferrari could have gone.
3 points - JB. What an incredible start to the race?! Great w/e overall overrides his not as hot second stint... so he's 3 as well.
1 point - FA. For his hustling at the end.
1 point - KR. From the back to score a point.

3 points - Michael Schumacher
- Despite of his minor, careless mistake in qualifying lap, other than that, he yet proves again he's the best driver among his peers. Superb racer. Fastest lap after another fastest lap. A cool-head, matured PR man of not pointing a finger back at someone who called him "blind and stupid" at Press Conference.

3 points - Jenson Button
- Extra credits to Jenson and his BAR in this weekend. I feel happy for Jenson boy, for that he doesn't talk **** when facing unnecessary criticism, but keeps his head cool and finds a way to finish on podium.

1 point - Alonso
- Thanks Alonso for giving us some entertainment at the latter stage of the race. He can do better next time in Spain. I can't hardly wait.

1 point - Kimi Rakkionen
- Needless to say, finally, bringing a point to home.

3 Points : Jenson Button
2 Points : Micheal Schumacher
1 Points : Fernando Alonso

Jenson was awesome, a flawless lap got him pole, he had a perfect start and didn't get put off by what was happening behind him. I think he deserves more than Micheal Schumacher because although Micheal was miles faster than Rubens, Jenson was miles faster than all of the Michelin teams and the likes of Renault and Williams (and Ruben's Ferrari) are very close to BAR, whilst the Ferrari of Micheal Schumacher is really on another level. Alonso gets the last point, because even though its nigh-on impossible to pass at Imola he tried and more importantly he tried against Ralf Schumacher (the moving chicane) where Rubens didn't.

Quality : 5 (Was an okay-ish race, a little more spicing it up than others, specially as Ferrari were at least challenged and lost their perfect record with no pole).

Satisfaction : 8 Somehow I was dissapointed with Button's second, even though its his best result ever, but he still got a second and thats amazing, Button is the new Mr Consistent, he has practically taken over from last years Kimi Raikkonnen and I'd even go as far as saying he's better, much better.

MS : 3 points (great performance, pulling some stunning laps to close gap to JB in order to overtake him after 1st stop and avoid traffic problem (considering Rubens problem)).
JB : 2 points (great performance for the pole and the 1st second place).
