The entries that came in after the practice are accepted too, as frankly I had even forgotten myself about the Thursday practice routine. Plus I'm not 100% picky about the deadline anyway, as long as nobody is systematically late (more than twice per season).

Thanks for the leeway, Makarias, but as one of 4 people who technically submitted late, I should say any protest would be legitemate and I will delete my guess if anyone wishes.

Seems clear enough to me. Even when practice was on Fridays some people should have been too late. What's the use of rules if everybody's allowed to bend them?
Can we all make another guess?

Well technically you could have, but the start of Q1 is an absolute deadline in any case. I just think it's usuallu not THAT big a deal if you're a bit late once or twice, but not more than that. It wouldn't be fair if the track was new or very changed though for sure.

Otoh, it just occurred to me that the late entries did have an advantage in that they didn't have Ralf Schumacher to guess for, as he'll have his engine replaced. My stance on ten position penalties and such is that I'll ignore them if they're caused by purely disciplinary stuff, but recognise them for technical things, as the case is here.
