Anyone has entry and result list? In his book, Darrell Waltrip said the drivers includes on Al and Bobby Unser, Roger McCluskey, Gordon Johncock, and Butch Hartman. Every driver took lightly on the "local hero" and DW still came on top. The drivers thought he was cheating and have the officials force DW take apart the car. He still passed inspection.

Being that Waltrip was the local hot shoe at Nashville, and he was driving a recently acquired Holman-Moody Grand National Mercury, the results are not entirely unexpected.
